Concept Design Studio is an architectural firm committed to innovative design solutions and creative architectural design. We specialize in Multi-Family Residential, Commercial and Design-Build Projects.  We strive to build strong, lasting relationships with each and every client, developer, consultant and contractor.

We are a fairly new firm located in Norton Shores, Michigan.  We have done work in many of the surrounding communities, including Muskegon, Grand Rapids, Grand Haven, Spring Lake and Jackson.
As a firm, we are interested in all aspects of design and believe being a small firm serves as an advantage.  We feel the size of our firm gives us the most direct connection between the owner’s conceptual ideas, the schematic planning, the integration of all building systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural), the aesthetics of the design, the delivery/construction method and the final product. We have 50+ years of design and construction experience giving us experience and knowledge to generate a good project in a timely fashion.

Being a smaller firm also gives us the advantage of keeping costs low. We have very little overhead due to our firm makeup and our employees/partners have individual ownership in the firm, giving us additional incentive to please owners and create great, functional designs.

We make an effort to design with cost efficient building materials and processes.  We also design with sustainable/green ideas in mind to keep life cycle costs of the building down as well as make minor impact on the surrounding environment.  The ultimate achievement would be to design a building that is better on the environment than what was previously there.
